CHAPTER 33
Post-9/11 GI Bill®

VA can pay tuition and fees and a monthly housing allowance. These programs meet in person in NYC rather than online, which is one of the things VA weighs when it sets that allowance. VA decides the amount, so ask VA about your own.

CHAPTER 31
Veteran Readiness and Employment

Your VR&E counselor authorizes the training and we bill VA directly. Start with your counselor, then tell us you are Chapter 31.

CHAPTER 35
Survivors and dependents

Pays a set monthly amount rather than tuition directly, so it will not necessarily cover a full program on its own. Chapter 30, the Montgomery GI Bill®, works the same way. We will go through the balance with you first.
