Use your VA education benefits in person, in New York City
Noble Desktop is a New York State licensed career school at 185 Madison Avenue, training since 1990. Thirty of our certificate programs in coding, data, AI, design, and CAD are approved for the training of veterans and eligible dependents using VA education benefits. Because classes meet in person, eligible Post-9/11 GI Bill® students receive the housing allowance at the New York City rate, not the online rate.

The benefits Noble Desktop accepts
Our approved programs are open to veterans, service members, and eligible dependents using any of the three benefit chapters below. VA decides who is eligible and what each benefit pays. Our School Certifying Official handles the certification with VA once you enroll.
The most common benefit. Depending on your entitlement and rate of pursuit, it can cover tuition and fees, a books and supplies stipend, and a monthly housing allowance. Our programs run in person at our NYC campus, so eligible students get the housing allowance at the New York City rate rather than the reduced online rate.
For veterans with a service-connected disability and an employment barrier. Your VR&E counselor authorizes the training and Noble bills VA directly. Chapter 31 has its own authorization step, separate from GI Bill eligibility, so start with your counselor.
For eligible spouses and children. Chapter 35 pays a set monthly amount rather than tuition directly, so it will not necessarily cover a full program on its own. We can talk through the balance and payment options before you commit.

Thirty Noble Desktop certificate programs are approved for the training of veterans, verifiable in VA's own GI Bill Comparison Tool under Noble Desktop, facility code 25112332. Prefer to study fully online?
Noble Desktop's VA-approved programs meet in person in New York City. If you want to use your benefits without coming to campus, our partner school VDCI, the Virtual Design and Construction Institute in San Diego, holds its own VA approval for fully online programs in CAD, BIM, Civil 3D, drafting and design, software engineering, data, and AI.
VDCI is a separate school with its own enrollment, its own certifying official, and its own VA facility code. If you enroll there, you enroll with VDCI, and your benefits are certified by VDCI. Note that the housing allowance for exclusively online study is paid at roughly half the national average rather than your local rate.

Tell us your goal and which benefit you plan to use. We will tell you which program fits, what your benefit is likely to cover, and what it will not.
Pick your program and schedule, choose Veterans Affairs as your payment method when you register, and send us your Certificate of Eligibility. Chapter 31 students come through their VR&E counselor instead.
Our School Certifying Official submits your enrollment certification to VA. VA then pays according to your entitlement and rate of pursuit.
